Penn Township New Fire Station
Plans and Architectural Renderings
Penn Township is moving forward with plans to construct a new fire station on Calvin Center Road in Vandalia, Michigan. The project represents a significant investment in the township’s emergency services infrastructure and will provide a new facility for the Penn Township Fire Department, which serves the Diamond Lake area and surrounding communities.
The Township has been evaluating locations and planning for the new station since 2025. Following site selection and preliminary planning, the Township Board approved a project amount of $5.25 million at its October 12, 2026 meeting.
Wightman has been selected to provide architectural design services, and The Rienks Group has been selected as construction manager for the building and site preparation.
