Read the letter we sent to Penn Township concerning large-scale development
The DLA Board has established the Lake and Community Development subcommittee to lead the effort related to the proposed Data Center development near Diamond Lake.
This is an evolving situation, and our focus now is on bringing structure and coordination to how we move forward. We anticipate there being a larger Cass County wide effort to ensure development of this type follows a thoughtful and transparent process.
This group will coordinate work across several key areas, including:
Environmental and water impact
Government engagement and process
Communications and community coordination
Research and fact-finding
We are actively looking for individuals who can contribute to this effort.
