A Nationwide Emergency Alert System Test will take place on Wednesday, November 9th at 2 PM (eastern).
The test may last up to three and a half minutes. The public will hear a message indicating that "This is a test." The message will be the same for both radio and television. The message will be on every channel and every station that someone could be expected to be listening to.
The test could be postponed if conditions warrant; such as, a real emergency or severe weather conditions.
Emergency Preparedness Meeting - Enbridge Pipeline Representative

The Cass County Emergency Preparedness Team will have a representative from Enbridge Pipeline speaking to them on November 3rd. The DLA Board will be represented at the meeting. There is limited seating for interested individuals.
